Privacy Policy
We keep the policy plain: what AccenTuner stores, why it is stored, and how you can ask for access or deletion.
Last updated: March 2026
What AccenTuner collects
AccenTuner collects account details (name, email, hashed password), sign-in session data, onboarding answers, baseline responses, session summaries, support tickets, newsletter records, and product activity logs needed to run the service.
When live coaching and pronunciation scoring are used, AccenTuner may also process microphone audio, transcripts, pronunciation assessments, and provider-generated session events. This only happens after you give explicit audio-processing consent during Getting Started.
Why we use your information
We use this information to authenticate users, provide live coaching sessions, save coaching progress, answer support requests, send account and service emails, and operate billing and admin workflows.
We only use voice-related data for live coaching and pronunciation scoring after you give audio-processing consent. You can withdraw consent at any time from Settings.
Third-party processors
Depending on the feature used, AccenTuner may share limited data with: OpenAI for live conversation, Microsoft Azure Speech for pronunciation assessment, and Resend for transactional or marketing email delivery.
These providers only receive the information needed to perform the relevant service function. AccenTuner does not sell personal data to any third party.
Retention and deletion
We aim to retain structured product records such as coaching outcomes, session summaries, support history, and billing state for continuity and support, while minimizing raw provider payload retention where possible.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your coaching data, session records, and baseline information. You can also request access, correction, or consent-related help by contacting the privacy address below.
Canada and international privacy
AccenTuner is designed to support Canadian private-sector privacy expectations, including meaningful consent, limited collection, clear purposes, and access or correction requests under PIPEDA.
For users in the European Economic Area, the cookie banner is intended to keep non-essential cookies off until consent is given. This page is a product-facing privacy notice, not legal advice. Enterprise deployments requiring additional terms should be handled separately.
