Terms of Service
These terms stay focused on what the product is, how monthly allowances work, and the responsibilities around use and account access.
Last updated: March 2026
Service scope
AccenTuner is a speaking-practice and accent-coaching product for live coaching, pronunciation feedback, retry-loop practice, and progress tracking.
It is not legal, immigration, medical, clinical, licensing, employment, or academic certification advice. Accent coaching outcomes depend on learner effort, audio quality, provider performance, and consistent practice — AccenTuner does not guarantee a particular accent result, job outcome, visa approval, or professional evaluation score.
Accounts and acceptable use
Users are responsible for keeping account credentials private, using the service lawfully, and only speaking content they have the right to use. Microphone permissions, browser compatibility, and device audio setup remain the user's responsibility.
Sharing accounts, attempting to circumvent plan limits, or using the service in a way that disrupts other users or the infrastructure is not permitted.
Subscriptions and monthly allowances
Paid plans are sold as monthly coaching allowances with tier-based limits on saved sessions, retry cards, and scenario access. Allowances reset each billing period and do not carry over.
If payment-provider automation is unavailable, subscriptions may be activated or adjusted manually during private beta. Plan changes, cancellations, and account deletions should be handled through the product or support workflow.
Cancellation stops future access according to the active billing state and plan rules. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.
Availability and third-party services
Some features depend on third-party providers such as OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, email providers, or payment providers. AccenTuner may change, suspend, or limit features when those providers are unavailable, misconfigured, or no longer appropriate for the service.
AccenTuner is not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party provider outages, browser compatibility issues, or network conditions outside our infrastructure.
Privacy and data
Use of the service is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which describes what AccenTuner collects, how it is used, and how to request access, correction, or deletion.
These terms are intended to operate alongside applicable Canadian consumer and privacy requirements, while preserving any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
Modifications to the service or terms
AccenTuner may update these terms or change the service over time. Material changes that affect paid subscriptions will be communicated with reasonable notice.
Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
